The CAP academy provides high-level playing opportunities for the ambitious and elite players. This club-complementing training and playing program pools the top players in the club. This concept is aimed at increasing the levels of our players which in turn will help increase the level of our club teams. The Academy is a pathway for ambitious and elite players that are selected who are looking to play at the next level, at college recruitment, with possibilities of playing beyond that.
It is a myth you have to play ECNL to get recruited to college. The CAP Program is designed to create an elite environment with in a local club and surrounding areas that attracts, retains and develops top quality players providing an ongoing supply of academy graduates to the ODP, and collegiate programs at a fraction of the cost of the ECNL programs. The Academy college education program is in place to show a clear guided pathway and encourages each player to reach his/her full potential as he/her passes through the development phases. This education provision is designed to be flexible and to provide support for each player to achieve whilst remaining in their club/ team of preference. It includes both formal and informal education which reinforces the high expectations of the Academy in relation to the Post to Post standard of player referrals and encompasses our holistic college pathway approach.
